2024 Recap: TST Congregations

2024 Recap: TST Congregations
The Satanic Temple’s congregations demonstrated their commitment to community and fighting for equal Satanic representation through impactful local initiatives. The Satanic Temple West Michigan made headlines with their invocation at the Ottawa County Board of Commissioners meeting, testing new invocation policies and reinforcing the importance of equal representation in the public square.

Congregations supported their communities by participating in local Pride parades and interfaith events and hosting numerous Menstruatin’ With Satan (MwS) drives. TST Illinois set a new record with their 2024 MwS drive, collecting 45,517 personal care items to assist community members in need. Meanwhile, TST Arizona’s leadership took a groundbreaking step by joining their local interfaith network. TST Connecticut and Rhode Island further exemplified TST’s tenet of compassion for all beings by adopting a goat at a local animal sanctuary.

Another community highlight this year was placing holiday displays alongside other religious displays on public grounds. TST Atlanta’s display brought the Seven Tenets to Georgia’s Sloppy Floyd building. At the same time, the New Hampshire and Vermont congregation demonstrated resilience as they worked tirelessly to restore their vandalized display at the New Hampshire Statehouse. In Michigan, the beloved Yule Goat returned to the State Capitol for its sixth year, thanks to the efforts of the TST Capital Area Michigan and West Michigan congregations.

Through their tireless efforts to uphold the principles of the Seven Tenets, TST congregations continue to inspire through their unwavering commitment to community, compassion, and religious freedom.
